Very basic USB Wifi adapter for use with the BeagleBone based controllers. It supports 150Mps.
This adapter does NOT support “Access Point” mode when using the default “External” WIFI drivers. If “Access Point” mode is enabled with the external drivers and a client tries to connect, the Linux kernel will crash. It is strongly recommended to disable “Access Point” mode if using this adapter with the external drivers. With the “Linux Kernel” drivers, the “Access Point” mode works. However, general stability and performance for normal operation is a bit lower than with the “External” drivers. If the main purpose of the WIFI adapter is connectivity to a network, the “External” driver is recommended (with Access Point” mode disabled). If the main purpose is to provide an access point to connect to, the “Linux Kernel” drivers are recommended.
